CORO® Real-Time RT-PCR SARS-CoV-2 kit is a real-time molecular test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 extracted from nasopharyngeal swab.
WHAT IS CORO®?
The in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) test kit under Provisional Authorisation issued by Singapore’s Health and Sciences Authority. The kit utilizes both the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) and Spike (S) genes for screening and confirms SARS-CoV-2 positive diagnosis by detecting the Nucleocapsid (N) gene.
The RT-PCR Kit is intended for use by trained clinical laboratory personnel specifically instructed and trained in the techniques of RT-PCR and in vitro diagnostic procedures.
